We all had a great time at Trike Week. Gene/Freedom
Trikers got several awards and the Freedom/GRR basket was autioned for $900.00, the high bid by far. I sign uped our
15th member at TW, Bob Wilson of Weaver. Dale had more generator problems so he junked the VW
system and Keith Swanson adapted a GM 1-wire alternator which is working A-OK. The only other mechanical problems
were mine. 1st the solinoid on my van's "new starter" stuck but after a jump from Keith's p/u it works fine.
2nd the left front brake pads on my van wore out but I was able to make it home OK. Repaired it after I
got home. Bob

There are other motels close
such as the Hotel Clements
401
North 3rd St. ($80.00/night)
(These two motels are located
at the edge of the historic downtown area, )
Weather Note. Since
it's too far in advance of the run to get an accurate weather forecast, I believe that we should plan on good weather and
only cancel on the day of the run if the weather is bad. I'm not fond of riding in the rain and I'm sure others aren't
either.
Bob aka Sled
Events are coordinated with the Freedom Triker chapter when possible.
